I checked and double checked my code and I can't seem to find any other reason this occurs. So I am guessing it is a bug. This appears to be similar to one that was fixed in 3.2.2:
"fixed addRowData method: when adding a empty value, IE was not correctly displaying the border of the cell"
When I add an empty row to my grid that has several (6) select type cells I don't see the complete cells. Some have no borders and some have incomplete borders. I add the row using code like this:
var rc = $(gridName).addRowData(rowcount,{'':""},"last");
The row is added but the borders are missing or incomplete on the select cells in particular. A regular text cell seems to render OK.
I see this in *both* Firefox (3.5.3) and Internet Explorer 8. I am running version 3.5.3 (plus Git Hub patches)
Thanks,
Pete

Hello,
Could you please provide a link to the problem or post the grid configuration again with adding the data. Do not forget to enclose this in code tag.
Thanks

Tony,
I put up a static version here:
http://www.petesworkshop.com/j...../test2.htm
I hard coded the select content where in my "real" application it makes a roundtrip to the server but you can see the effect: Missing borders when you add a row.
You need to click on the locations tab first and then back to "Employee Time Cards" tab to render the grid. Then click on the "Add" button and you should see the problem.
Thanks,
Pete

Hello,
I see this. The problem is in formatter:'select'. The value returned from formatter is empty string which causes the cells not to have borders. Also will see how to fix this.
Thanks
Tony
