I have updated the version to Alfa 2 stage. A lot of bugs are fixed, but some other remain.
I have added a lot of other new features. They neeed to be tested. Since some of these can not be included in the final, please do not use this version in production environment.

I will create forum topic for this relese.

The link to the demo is the same .
You can download the new release from Release section on this site

Thanks

First, thanks for creating this awesome plugin.

This is just a note that the database.sql file included in the download-able samples doesn't include the SQL to create the accounts or categories tables used by the tree grid examples.

The PDF documentation does have the SQL code to create the accounts table (via cut and paste) but there doesn't seem to be any SQL to allow the creation of the categories table.

Thanks

wonderful transition to 3.5, however to me it came frustrating:

The themed jqGrid slows everything way more
I have customized my 3.4.3 grid’s style (I use complex dual-subgrid grid with every subsequent grid relatively smaller)

How can I have a grid with the theme disabled/lightened/fast/customizable just simply that of 3.4.*?

The bug still in 3.4.3 us fixed in 3.5. How could i track it down (repatch my 3.4.3?) Bug description:

  • Create jqgrid with subgrid as jqgrid and another subgrid again as jqgrid (two hierarchical level subgrids)
  • Expand first row, then click on '+' (expand again) on the subgrid. Left-Click once with a mouse on a 2nd level subgrid's: all the subgrid turns into the div with its inner HTML displayed. No errors on FireBug..

Thanks huge for this. I hope I am not in a dead end

Ok. I'm trying out the alfa. As I want to work with jquery-ui, and jquery theming.

Got it pretty close, but the scroller is not formatting right.

http://mentalpagingspace.blogs.....ns-of.html

I've tried it with a couple of styles, but get the same thing.

Anyone figured this out?

I've put a image of the grid, and the source of the html on my blog, since I cannot paste a photo here.

Hello sledge,

What you mean with:

"How can I have a grid with the theme disabled/lightened/fast/customizable just simply that of 3.4.*?"

At end of week I will publish the 3.4.4, where these bugs are corrected.

Regards

Tony

Thank you for reply, Tony!

This is wonderful that you will continue the 3.4.* branch. At least for this bug, otherwise I don't see any other bug-stoppers, and I could be happy with your grid, even without further support of 3.4.* branch.

My problem is: those jqQuery theings with image backgrounds and rounded rectangles render jqGrid slow on my computer. Might there be a theme called "plain, light or minimal"?

Moreover, I have customized the look of my complex grid - the 1st level grid has a blue header, 2nd level - green, and 3rd - red. I could re-do it (somehow) following the new class tags of jQuery themes, but the speed still remains an issue.

Thanks, waiting eagerly for the end of this week!
