Greetings!

When a row of record in database is null,my php script
as it creates (<data></ data> -without space between them or
<data />) link. Upon receipt of this xml jqgrid grid in the formation
of the same record in the table looks like <td>&nbsp</ td>.
What is the reason and how I could know that this value is null?

The reason is IE. If the cell is empty IE loses the border of the cell.

Instead use getRowData to identify that this cell has nothing

Hi again!

Continuation of my previous post. I`m loadet the jqgrid, and in my

result from sql query I have null values wich jqgrid format as

&nbsp. After that when I use getRowData, or editRow the value

of the record is &nbsp. Why not an "" ?

Did you mean that &nbsp is shown or it is just space?
