hi every one I just want to know how to use the search filter plugin as a separate plugin. or how to create a search filter and reapply it to the one in the grid. i really have no clue how to do this thanks for the help

Hello,
The only documentation is in the same plugin.
Open the dev version - jquery.searchFilter.js from the packge and see ho to use it separatley.

hi tony thanks for the reply now the problem i have is how do i show the grid inside the modal form just like the one on the grid i've been trying to follow the the source code but i can't seem to find how to make the modal form show up. oh and by the way i've been using the plugin for struts 2 so please forgive my inexperience when it comes to jquery and jqrid.
