jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

hello Tony, I have a problem,

When I click on navbar to add some data, I have a filde type - select, and I want to initialy select one position which is depended from current date I have:

                                {name:'term_desc',index:'room', width:100,editable:true,edittype:"select",editoptions:{value:"1:One;2:Two;3:Three"}},
                                {name:'notes',index:'notes', width:100,editable:true, edittype:"textarea", editoptions:{rows:"3",cols:"10"}},

The variable $varDependedFromDate can have a value 1 or 2 or 3 if the value is for example 2, then "Two" should be shown as selected.

I'm trying to modify file grid.formedit.js but nothing works 🙁 Do you have any idea?
