Hello.

I wish I could hide a column in the list of records but in the search dialog display it. How i do it?

You can define search: false for any column in the colModel (see /jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:colmodel_options). This will disables searching on that column. In general it seems me that columns with hidden: true, will not be displayed in the searching dialog if you explicitly not enable another behavior with searchhidden: true in the searchoptions (see /jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:search_config)
