I have a grid that when reloaded can either be view only or editable. I have worked out a way to disable and enable the navigator buttons, but how do I do this with inline edit?

So basically, how can I enable or disable inline edit on a grid that is already loaded on screen.

thanks!

Hi Tony

The Question is how can I make inline edit disabled after the grid is already loaded on the page?

My scenario is this:

User 'X' views a Grid with information on him and Inline Edit is Enabled because its his own information.

Then the user 'X' wants to view information on another user. So user 'Y' is selected in a dropdown & this causes reload grid. But this time when the grid reloads, it show users 'Y' information & I want inline edit to be Disabled as it is User X viewing User Y information.

I hope I have explained it better. If not, please let me know.

thanks

Hello,

I think You have not answered my question full. Please post the code related to this, or the best will be to send a link to the problem.
