jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hello Guys,

I am new to this forum, i have been working on jqgrid for quiet a time now, i am facing a challenge to load the jqgrid with only the filter toolbars loaded initially on load. Then on change of the dropdown event, load the jqgrid data.

The code snippet:

    datatype: 'local',
    pager: $("#theGridPager"),
    viewrecords: true,
    sortname: 'value1',
    sortorder: 'desc',
    caption: 'the grid',
    colNames: ['value0', 'value1', 'value2'],

        { name: 'value1', index: 'value1', width: 100 }, 
        { name: 'value2', index: 'value2',
                        stype: 'select',
                        title: false,
                        async: false,
                        align: 'left',

                            value: {1:test1;2:test2;3:test3}
                        }   
 }
    ]
});
