Hi,

I have found a bug with virtual scrolling that i can replicate on the demo.

Goto: http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid.....qgrid.html

-> New in Version 3.7

->Virtual Scrolling

1) In the scrollbar use the square part to move down one page.(so that the records setting say VIew 1-100 of 2000

2)Now, Press and hold the up arrow(not the square part) on the scrollbar to scroll back to the start record 1(as far as it will go).

3)Notice that the record setting say 1-100 of 2000 instead of 1-50 of 2000

This becomes a much bigger issue when you have a multiple select grid as any selected items on the first page do not get selected again by the selectionPreserver.

Hello,

I'm not sure that this is a bug, but a way a virtual scrolling work. we allways have two pages loaded in the grid and if there is not a need to load the data we do not do it or I'm missed something withe understanding.

Thanks for the quick reply.

If that is the case why does it always revert to 1-50 when I use the scrollbar thumb?

Where this has become a big issue(more noticable) for me is that i am using a multiselect grid.

If on the first page i click select all, it will select the first 30 rows(as rowNum is 30)

Then...

scenario 1 (working)

If i then use the scrollbar thumb to move to a different page and then use the scrollbar thumb again to move back to the start the 30 rows are selected again.All works fine. record count shows 1-50.

Scenario 2(Not working)

If i use the scrollbar thumb to move to a different page and then hold the up arrow down until the start of the grid the rows on the first page do not show as selected and the recrod count says 1-100 instead of 1- 50
