Hello, I think its not bug, and may be not realy need. But in my situation it indeed need.

More: I bind 2 events (jqGridSubGridRowExpanded and jqGridSubGridRowColapsed). Then I expand row, i know that row user is clicked. But then subgrid is colapsed, setSelection is not set, and in triggerHandler we only have OLD selection. In source code we see:

if($(this).hasClass("sgcollapsed")) {......

$(ts).jqGrid('setSelection',_id)

But in

else if($(this).hasClass("sgexpanded")) {

we have nothing.

This is true. I'm not sure what to do in the future. Currently in order to solve your problem you can do

setSelection in your jqGridSubGridRowColapsed.

Very thanks for answer, Tony! I already decided this problem similarly. Just i think what this properties need to include in parameters of grid. Then anyone can use it for self discretion. But its issue (ÑÐ¿Ð¾Ñ€Ð½Ñ‹Ð¹ Ð²Ð¾Ð¿Ñ€Ð¾Ñ) because, there are other solutions....

Hello.

I have added a option selectOnCollapse in subgrid options which when set will select the row when it is collapsed.

Also it will be available in the new version, whch is suppopsed to be released today.
