Hi!

When I'm using jquery.jqGrid.js in HTML generate by a perl script, I get the error message 'Object does'nt support this property or method'. But if I use the same HTML code in an HTML file, it work fine.

I have submit the problem in the HELP forum where Tony suggest to me to replace jquery.jqGrid.js by grid.base.js and it work good that way. The only problem is that I have lost many nice functionnalities.

Someone can tell me what is the bug and when or how to fix that bug?

I really need and appreciate jqGrid, and I would like to use all the new functionnalities!

Regards!

Denis

When used this way I recommend to include all the files one by one.

(The jqGrid loader need to be improved and yes there is a little

problem only in IE)

If You look again in js directory you should include these

files  (if you want all the functionalities)

grid.formedit.js, grid.inlinedit.js, grid.subgrid.js, grid.custom.js

grid.postext.js, jqModal.js, jqDnR.js

Hi Tony!

I'v tried but many fonctionnalities are not fonctionnal! For instance, when I add  ''.navGrid('#pgtoolbar2',{edit:false,add:false,del:false});'' in a page that contains more then one grid, I get the same error message 'Object does'nt support this property or method'. I can't also add the new toolbar (top and bottom) in a grid...again the same error message...

Anyway, if I use the basic grid, now it work good. But I am impatient the be abble to use all the fonctionnalities of the latest version.

Do you know when all those bugs will be fixed?

Thanks!

Denis,

I do not think that this is a bug. The reasons for this behavior could be other things. I do not exclude that there is a problem with jqGrid. Also check you code again. Are all other modules loaded (you can check this using FireBug)
