Hello,

These methods are not easy to be added

1. because we need to do them for the buth method nestted set and adjacency

2. we do not know actually if we do it at client side the sync with server is the same

Instead I will try to do these for 3.7 releases.

Best Regards

Tony

ok thanks Tony.

This would be a killer feature. Any idea when the addTreeNode and deleteTreeNode methods might be included?

Hello,

Currently No. The problem will be solved when we have add additinal methods like addTreeNode and delTreeNode, which I consider to be added in the future.

Anothe possible solution is to reload the grid with all nodes expanded, but IMHO this is not good.

Best Regards

Hey Tony, I've seen this question else where but no answer:

"Is there way to maintain the Expand/Colapse state (previous Expanded/Colapse State) after relode the jqGrid."

Maybe I've done something wrong, but when a node is added, once the pop up dialog goes away (and the node is added on the server), the tree collapses and only shows the top level of the tree. So a user has to click down to where the node was added.

Is there a way to maintain the tree state. I tried setting reloadAfterSubmit to false, but the tree grid just crashed.
