It depends where do you call this. If the call is in onRightClickRow I'm not sure that this will work.

I use a context menu plugin (http://www.javascripttoolbox.c.....ntextmenu/) on my web site with jqGrid 3.4.

When moving to 3.5 alpha, this menu doesn't work anymore : the call to the plugin is not done :

$('#'+gridName).contextMenu( ... );

Do you see anyting in this new release which could cause a side effect ?
