On the MVC3 project example it runs fine but on the MVC4 project in the Chrome browser console I get the following message:

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined Also in the MVC 3 project the Grid is rendered as

"<div class='ui-jgrid ui-widget ....ect." where on the MVC4 it is rendered as "<table id="JQGrid1"></Table>
