Hi,

I'm still confused with all the postbacks. I added an event to capture the select row. The reason is I need to do a bunch of things in the code behind. So I did the check for the AjaxCallBackMode and then even added a session check to make sure that it doesn't reload the data. Is that right? Regardless...it means that the data isn't reloaded. BUT...if I set the number of records to be displayed to be 30 then click the row it will go back to the default records to be displayed to be 10.

I see in examples that it is done client side but since i need to do a bunch of other events I need to do it code behind and make it a server side event.

Any suggestions on how to keep everything without the postback?

thanks.
