I have resolved this issue. The ONLY way I am aware to validate posted data is by using FireFox Firebug.

Of there is another method, it may be helpful to know.

If anyone has an suggestions on how to debug the post file, I would be extremely appreciative. In standard html, when you post, you can look at the source that is generated on the new page to debug. (i.e. response.write strSQL or know where the error results from with friendly error messages turned off.) When I get an error posting in jqGrid, I only receive the generic "error Status: 'Internal Server Error'. Error code: 500". I have friendly error messages turned off in my browser but am getting this when I try to post.

If anyone can provide some guidance on debugging the post, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to view the results of the post page? Either when the AddNew, Update, or Edit is submitted? Normaly, when I post I can use the browser to debug but here I cannot see what the problems are.

When I try to use response.write strSQL, the screen is suppressed in the way it is called.

Is there a way I could have the url: post to a new window for debugging puposes?

I just don't know how to start.
