Could not remember the right version (maybe from 3.4.2), but the validation is included in inline editing (you should use editrules object).

By jqgrid own validation module do you mean the EditRules and Formatter?

Hello,

Not sure what you mean with integration.

You can use any plugin in the jqGrid, including validation plugin.

Moreover jqGrid has own validation module, which I think is not so bad and can be very easy extended.
