I think that setting font size to 65-75% will resolve the problem.

It is important to note tha this is not jqGrid problem.

Insted that you have fonsize set into the body the new inserted element into the dom usin jQuery UI theming does not resize, you should set it either in the style attribute or use the jQuery css to set the font size dynamically.

I have been told to put this question on this forum as the reason why the font becomes very large when using the jqeury tabs is not due to the struts 2 jquery plugin but some configuration needed for jqgrid.

anyone seen the is before or any ideas what to do? When i dont  use the tabbjed pane, the font is normal.
