First I have to say is how much I like jqGrid and that I have been using it for ages.

I recently upgraded from 1.5 to 1.7, and when I now Sort a column, a row (the bottom one) disapears.

I inspected with firebug to try and see if it is just hidden under the footer, but it seems to be completely removed from the DOM.

However, when you Sort the other way, the now new bottom row disapears but the hidden row appears at the top.

I know it sounds confusing, but I will try and strip down the most basic example and post here.

If anyone has any ideas or encountered the same problem, would be much appreciated.
