Hi Tony,

thanks for your reply. Sorry if my description wasn't understandable:

In my edit form I have a dropdown-box (edittype: "select") and a textbox.

Depending on the value I choose in my dropdown-box I want to hide or show the textbox below. (the edit form stays opened, it doesn't get reopened)

I did bind a change-event to my column (dropdown) but I don't know how to enable/disable or show/hide the textbox in my change-event.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes this is possible. You can use the beforeshowForm event. See documentation.

Hi,

What I am trying do is the following:

When I am opening the Add or Edit form I want one textbox (column: test) to be enabled or disabled depending on the select value from another column (value). So if I change a value in the add or edit form I want the textbox below to get activated/deactivated depending on the selected value.

Is this possible?
