Off the top of my head I think you can:

1. set the "hidegrid" option to false to remove the collapse button - you need to have a caption for this to work.

2. You set subgrid column headers the same as you would a normal grid.

3. Set "autowidth: true" in your subgrid definition

I am discovering jqGrid and have some questions which I am unable to find answers in this forum, so I hope I will receive some help from advanced users.

1 - How can I disable the collapse button for the grid in header section ?

2 - How can I dynamically modify header columns of the subgrid ?

3 - How can I set autowidth for the subgrid ?

4 - Is there a way to have only one subgrid expanded, that collapses when I click on another grid row ?

These questions are certainly easy to solve for whose who have experience in JS, which I do not have.
