This is how I do it, where you have your change event, I use this to call the search:

$("#list")[0].triggerToolbar();

I have a field configured like this:

                                                                dataInit:function(el){
                                                                                                $(el).datepicker({dateFormat:"yy-mm-dd"});
                                                                },
                                                                dataEvents: [
                                                                                                { type: 'change', fn: function(e) {
                                                                                                                            //   HOW TO SUBMIT THE FORM HERE?
                                                                                                } }
                                                                ]
                                                                

                                }

When i select a date in the datepicker the field loose the focus and the user must click on it again to set the focus in order to submit the for with the enter of the keyboard.

Is there any solution?
