got it! I was thinking that search is done on a client side, but it is using the same php file on a server side for extracting data

Hi All,

sorry for a silly question - should be a very simple one ...

1) should I add "search:true" to searchable fields or it is true by default?

2) do I need explicitly adding jQuery("#grid_id").searchGrid( properties );?

3) My problem is that I cannot make search working: I get the search field pop up, when clicking on a search icon, but it doesn't filter a matching row as on the demo

What am i doing wrong?
