Well, I've gotten past some of my jqgrid issues and now uncovered another unpleasantry. I am sure

there must be away around it, but I'm not familiar enough with jqgrid to know precisely what my options are.

I have a 4 x 15 grid. I update 1x15 at a time. I save it to the db, and need to "rebuilt" that 1x15 row because

the few non-editable cells within that 1x15 now have values in them (values determined by server side processing). The row comes

back, but only the one row. Seems that the other 3x15 (rows that weren't edited) is now gone because my xml return

supplies only the 1 row that was changed.

How do I merge (or keep) the other rows in tact while I edit/redraw a single row ??

thanks wk
