Hello,

I am using the form edit and form view buttons in the pager and I have a grid that shows some of hte columns and the rest are hidden. I also have 2 types of users with different permissions and 2 different grids with the same info load depending on who logs in.

The first type of user sees the grid with 5 columns and when they select a row and hit view the form module shows up with 5 more columns of info that were hidden. It works great because this type of user is an admin type and can edit all the information no problem.

Now the second type of user, can only edit 1 column and when they hit the edit button the form pops-up with only that one column. HOwever, when they hit the view button the form pops-up with only that one column. Is there a way to have the view form pop-up with all the information and still have the edit form pop-up with just that 1 column to edit.

I know if I put in the colModel {editable:true, editrules:{readonly:true}}, it will show up in the view form, but then it also shows up in the edit form and looks like it could be editable and that would be unexceptable to my bosses.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
