I need your help. I am new to jqGrid and I use inline editing with validation rules.

name: 'hours',

index: 'hours',

width: 40,

editable: true,

edittype: 'text',

editrules: {

  required: true,

  number: true

}

I can't save the row, if I set the field with a text but I also don't see any error. I need to add an error class to the input node and write an error message into a html node. How can I achieve this? I can't find anything in the documentation.
