Tony is there any chance that a parameter be added to the navGrid & navButtonAdd to specify constraint perhaps even accepting an id (ie containment:#myparent) or parent.

I have a jqgrid in an accordian tab and the search and show/hide dialog's can be lost under the accordian when I move them about is there a way to restrict the position of these dialogs. I have tried changing ".ui-searchFilter table" z-order and its overflow but without success. Do you have any suggestions
