I'm using jqgrid 4.1 with formatter: 'actions' option for inline edit. There are 2 columns with selects and the second select is populated depending on the selected value in the first select. When a user hit edit button the first select is populated with the values and the second with default value and then after  choosing a value in the first select, the second select is populated with real values and eventually the user hits save button. But when he tries to edit this row again some value is already chosen in the first select and the second select is populated with the default value.

So my question is How  can I get a value from the first select when user hit edit button?

I tried to use initData event for the second select but I only can get a text from the first select not a value.
