I've had a lot of trouble matching up data formats between the grid and my c# service code. Since I already know how to do all this with a jquery ajax call, I would really like to get the data this way, manually populate the grid using addRowData, and just tell the grid what page I'm on, and handle the various grid paging events on my own. Is this method supported in the API? I don't see a way looking over the docs.
