It was due to a different Json format that was being returned from server side method.

I have a MVC application in .NET that is using jqgrid. One screens retrieves 11 rows by using JSON. Only 10 rows are displayed, at the botom of the grid it is shown the text "showing 1 – 10 of 11″, but only 1 page is displayed.
