Currently we do not support this.
You should generate the colModel Dynamically and then put the data depending on this colModel.
It is not so simple as you say - it is a very difficult to do.

hi everyone, i'm new to using jqgrid and and actually have a probleme that i need your help. i'm trying to set a grid with a number of column depend on the result of the query. more clearly, my query return a result such like that: 3 column: competency, name, level. i want to display "competency" as a left frozen column and "name" as rows headers. for example:
