Was it by not substituting the dollar sign for writing out the long form "jQuery"? That's how I've solved some conflicts. Just curious how you solved it.

I'm using jquery 1.4.2 and jqGrid 3.6.4 and have included all necessary files for dragging and resizing of form edit dialog boxes.  When I drag the dialog it just goes transparent and doesnt move however.  Also, it wont resize even though the resize icon is there in the bottom right corner of the dialog.  When I revert to jquery 1.3.2 this issue does not happen.  However, I have other dependancies on the newest 1.4.2 jquery so downgrading is not an option.  Is this a know bug and are there any workarounds?
