Hello,

We do not provide a personal fix for older versions. You can grab the cell edit module and use it, but there is no guarntee on this.

Also you can upgarde to 3.6.x version.

Best Regards

Hi,

I have been using JQGrid ver. 3.5.2. There seems to be a problem when I enabled cell edit.

My Requirement is to support dynamic update of 3 editable columns of grid on change of any one editable column . I have made cellEdit true and using colModel made 3 columns to be editable (texboxes for edit). I am persisting my data using serverside mechanism and refresh the column data useing SetCell method on the afterSubmitCell event.

Problem is when I click on one editable cell, change its values then click on some other editable cell. The cell does not show up as editable. Now, If i cilck the third editable cell then the second editable cell becomes empty.

I looked at the recent enhancement and bug fixes made to JQGrid. Noticed one bug fix made in 3.6.2 that must have addressed this “Fix for cell editing to save the right values when we move from the editable cell to another one with mouse click“. Is it possible to backport a specific fix. Or can i get a patch on 3.5.2.

Or please provide any other way to handle this?
