What is the format used in import - xml or json?

If it is a xml the event should be enclosed in CDATA.

Regards

Hi, i am new to Jgrid. Looks to me Jgrid is a cool framework that looks very rich. We have a portal application which allow users to configure different type of reporting portlet on thep age. Each portlet is a table consist of cutomizable columns. Currently we make ajax call to the server and load the portlet on the page based on the user preferences. I try to replace all the custom jsp pages with JGRID. I am using Import functionality to do all the customization. All works fine as long as i don't use loadError or any other Jrid events. We have a common DIV on the portal page where we show the error message irrespective of which portlet encounter the error. I want to utilize loadError to do the same functionality.

I tried a static grid (without using import), load error works fine and I can able to show any error message on my common div section irrespective of whic portlet throws the error, but i am not sure how to use loaderror, onCellSelect or any other jgrid events with import functionality. As i have to provide the portlet customization, i must use import function which works very nice expect i don't know how to use loadError.

Can you please help me on this? Any sample code which help a lot.

Thanks

Andi
