I'm just evaluating your jqGrid plugin for use with a multi-platform OpenSource project.

As such, we are bound to only use software which is GPLed or under MIT license or the like.

I was searching up and down, but only found a tiny remark that jqGrid is indeed GPL/MIT. So I seached the downloaded files for a file named LICENSE to find the exact policies but did not found anything.

Please accept my apologies for treating a software developer with such a legal question, but those are the days ...
