As we saw in the release log you have rewrite the search plugin and now we can have the search fields seperated from the grid and not in a modal letting us to interact with the grid and use other features.

We cannot find any documentation how we will trigger from default the search fields and to be rendered out of the grid.

Also another question is can we use one search (and not one search for every grid) for a master details grids?
