I think that this is connected on how boxy works. You can try with setTimeout, but it is not sure that this will work.

My problem may not exactly be with JQGrid and is little difficult to explain but here it is. I am using asp.net usercontrols which have JQGrid. let say I have Default.aspx page which loads a user control. and this usercontrol has the  products JQGrid. The script tags are in Default page but not in the user control. this works perfectly fine. in the same page when a user clicks a button I am loading a JQGrid which is on Default2.aspx in a modal popup.(using boxy as this supports multiple popups) and this beats me. As a standalone page Default2.aspx displays JQGrid. but not in modal popup. picture this. Default.aspx loads JQGrid scripts for user control and Default2.aspx loads JQGrid scripts too as it has JQGrid too. if I dont include JQGrid scripts on Default2.aspx I get a error saying .jqGrid is not a function pointing to Default2.aspx. If I include scripts on Default2.aspx I get a error in Default.aspx itself which points to JQGrid in user control. (.getDataIDs() not a function). but in both cases the JQGRid in popup is not displaying.

I suspect that loading JQuery scripts or JQGrid script multiple times is the problem. at this point I dont really know whats wrong.
