<p>Thank Yamil, but I think that Christian have another think in mind.</p>
<p>I plan for the version 3.5 for all CRUD opreration to be defined as function. Currently this is possible only for reading the grid data - datatype as function.</p>
<p>This will open the door to other things like Google Gears</p>
<p>Is this the case Christian?</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Consolas;">The good thing about jqgrid is that it works with any server side technology. One thing I have noticed, however, is that it uses POST for its CUD operations (add,edit,del). This is not necessarily the best way to do things (according to some books etc.)&#160;if I want to use it in a &#39;truly restful webservice&#39; manner -&#160;where one should use delete and put as well. Are there ways to overcome this or is this intended?</span></p>
