for example:

select "searching (4.0) new" -> "Complex search"

click the "Find records…" button in nav bar

select "Client" instead of "Inv No" at the second line

then the select box next to the "Client" (the operator select box) will be disabled, and anything put in the next text field will return void result after filtering.

For the second problem, I searched in google and replaced “position:”fixed”” in jqGrid.min.js line:373 with "position:”absolute””, and it works.

Anyone who can help to find a solution of problem 1 is greatly appreciated!

I have used previous versions of jqgrid before. After 4.1.1, I started using 4.1.1 for my new grids. I have a couple of issues with jqgrid search dialog

I am using the basic form of search. The issues are in IE8

1) When I select a column value from first drop down, its automatically disabling the second drop down, that is, am not able to selct any other search operation. The drop down does not open at all

2) When I open the search dialog box, the main page on which I have my grid is totally hidden with some gray color.

I do not find these issues with Firefox. Also, am using jqueryu ui dialog functionality in the grid. That is I am displaying records using jqgrid, and when user clicks one column, a jquery ui dialog box is opened.
