Load the language file before the jqGrid in script tag. See installation.

It's the latest 3.5.2 version of the library.

I followed the pattern in the JSON sample, but unfortunately I can't figure out what I might be missing. 🙁

what version of your library..?

if you use 3.4.x version you can check path to jqGrid library, it should direct to folder jqGrid/js (relative to your app.)

I'm trying to build a page with a grid based off of the demos. I keep getting the error "jgrid.format is not a function".

The demos themselves (when downloaded to my site) work just fine. Is there some clue of what I should be looking for?
