jQuery("#myid").hide() do not work

the code is just like this :jQuery("#1").hide()

What type of data do you use?

In your ressponse there is a special tag for the row id. Refere to docs

If the row has id="myid" then

jQuery("#myid").hide() will work

Hi everyone?

I need to hide certain rows in the grid depending on some value of one of the columns or a row index. Is this possible with jqGrid ?? I don't see any methods for hiding rows.

I know there is .delRowData() but I need to just hide the row, not delete it from the grid.
