I'm using JQGRID (very usefull!) to manage a table with a big number of columns. With the help of this blog I have resolved many problem but I can't find a answer for these two:

1) to allow a clearer vision of the entire table I have set these two options:

Autowidth: true,    
ShrinkToFit: false,

With these two setting it appear, inside the JQgrid, an orizontal scroll bar (correct) but also a vertical scroll also if it isn't necessary! There is a method to eliminate vertical scroll in this case (I use IE7)?

2) when I try to edit a cell (with in-line editing) in last columns right, entire Jqgrid scroll to left and only after a "re-scroll" to right I can modify the field I want. There is a setting to avoid this behavior?
