But,  my custom button isn't working.

I don't get any firebug errors, it just isn't there.

What am I doing wrong?

I would like to create a link to a file that will create excel / pdf file.

I see hints and code on the forum on how to do that from a link exteranl to the grid, but it would be nice to have the link in the navigation grid.
