I am unsuccessfully dealing with an issue for several days. I need to have text input in the place, where column header should be (along with column header). It works well in most browsers except IE8, which is unfortunately critical for me. The problem is, that text, which user types in the text input can not be selected by draging the mouse. Also ctrl+a shortcut does not works. Is there any workaround to solve this problem? User must be allowed to copy/paste from/to this input.

I updated jQuery UI to latest version today and searchToolbar can not be used in this application.
