IE7 is really strange for me too. Every time I start it I have diffrent looks  or diffrent unexpected effects. Maybe IE 8 will be a one step forward. ;)

Check the loader if you load jquery.fmatter.js. Also look for this purpose in jquery.jqGrid.js

Error: 'formatter' is null or not an object

I don't know where I should look first to find this Error ? Does anyone have experience with such errors maybe with exactly the same ?
