I have a grid that displays 20 rows when first loaded sorted by descending date order. 10 of the rows are highlighted based on a column (golf handicap differential). This works fine.

But , when I sort the grid by somethign else (say golf score) I want to keep the rows that were originally highlighted highlighted. That is the highlighting would be persisent regardless of the sorting.

Now when I call a subsequent page of 20 rows, the best handicap differentials in the new page are highlighted, which is not what I want.

I am working on a server side solution.

Is there a JQuery/JGrid solution?

Thanks.
