In my appliction, when a user adds/edits a record, my server can send a WARNING response that must be showed to the user. If the user clicks ok to the response, the initial record to be added/edited is then saved to the server/db. If the user clicks Cancel on the Warning, then nothing is saved.

What is the best practise in doing this? I am unsure how to go about doing this.

thanks for your help
