Yes this is possible.

Short the id of the search form is combination of "fbox_" + the id of grid.

The search button in this form has class  "ui-search" - so you can easy trigger a click to this button when a enter key is pressed.

I'm a newbie to jqgrid. I've looked through the documentation but I can't find a way to enable using "enter" key to start the search in advanced search.

Has anyone done this?
