  • The method does not work well in Safari and Chrome because of the bug in the draggable widget. The effect is that the entry text is selected bellow the draggable row (/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:jquery_ui_methods#known_problems2)

I tested on the most recent demo version of jqGrid and this issue still seems to occur, so I was wondering if anyone has any more information about this issue.  Specifically I have the following questions:

  1. What is the bug in the draggable widget?  Has anyone debugged this to determine what is causing the issue? 
  2. Is there a work around for this issue?
  3. Has the issue been entered in the jQueryUI bug tracker?  I looked through the current bugs for the draggable widget but was not able to find anything that matched.  http://bugs.jqueryui.com/repor.....  If anyone has entered the bug and could direct me to the ticket that would be very helpful.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
