but when i try to used my own data i cant link the subgrid to the main grid...

 i dunno how to link... which id connect those 2 table.. i got confuse with the id..

FYI e.g. in my 1st table - i hv int_itemid, itemcode, itemdescription

2nd table - int_itemid, int_mrfid, int_qty, dt_require...

 i can see few id's in the example (inside jsubgrid.php, subgrid.php + server.php) but i dunno which one should be changed..

(I've tried to change them all, [i think!]but nothing happen) I still get and empty subgrid...

hope someone can show me how..

I love jqgrid and its array of features and its ease of use. I have been trying to use the grid as a subgrid feature and everything is working fine. What I would like is to collapse all expanded rows and just have one expanded row at a time.

would really appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.
